There are actually 2 notifications in the (5) link, which I responded to, but it remained as 5, even after refreshing with F5.  There are 199 + 134 notifications in Quora, yet Opera adds that up to 357?</p>

It just shows the title of the page in the state it was when you added the page as a speed dial. So, whatever count <em>the page</em> showed in the title at the time of adding the speed dial is what Opera will show. Refreshing the start page won't load a speed dial's page from the server to fetch its current title and update the speed dials title/name for you.</p>
