Пользовался несколько лет, расширение хорошее, но сейчас перешел на более легковесный Translator от автора sailormax.

@andkirby Translator. It does not have all the features of Mate Translate, and is not too beautiful, but it does not load tons of JS code for every page visited, and therefore I switched to it.
