Opera 12.x notably was great browser with full feature in one package browser you can get back then compared other browsers and some features was ahead at that time.
I did use Opera Chromium-based after Opera drop support Presto engine and it was ok but I switched back and (after couple years later) some website stopped working, intrusive certificate error, and opera sync stopped working.
Last week, I gave a try again using current version Opera, and it runs great, but some features missing such as widget on speed dial, progress bar, seriously customizable panels and speed dial make it as yours, and lastly tab grouping.
And Tab grouping is the most feature i really wanted to be back, it was so ahead from that time managing tabs as easy as drag n drop.

If all of that is "your cup of tea," you might want to try Vivaldi Browser. It is similar to what you describe here.
Opera is still very good in its present form and might be a more logical choice for most people.
One cannot forget the Brave Browser, too. It is quite good, also.
Happy browsing, my fellow human being.

@rahmad0199-0 The Opera team is small compared to Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and others. Creating a browser with its own engine is a lot of work, that's why the vast majority of browsers use the Chromium engine. Even Microsoft, with its huge team, preferred to rely on Chromium for Microsoft Edge.
I believe it is much better for the Opera team to make improvements to the Opera browser interface and if it detects bugs in the engine, report it directly to Chromium project, because then the improvement goes to everyone at once in the next engine update (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi and many others). Back in Presto, Opera was too slow. If you detect any bugs or have suggestions in the Chromium engine, report them to the team.

@rahmad0199-0 This is exactly what I want. It's so difficult as a student when I have 20~ tabs open that I'm concurrently using but no way to both keep them open, and keep them organised. I already have my permanent pinned tabs, so pinning them isn't an option as I already have many pinned. I don't want additional clutter in my tab space, it makes it difficult to navigate and open new tabs when I'm not using those specific tabs to study at the time. Workspaces and pinboards just aren't useful enough sadly.

@watamote as was mentioned above you should try Vivaldi, as it's much more customisable for this kind of thing.
Currently, Opera is my default and Vivaldi is No. 2. I switch to Vivaldi for specific tasks.
Another option is to use tab search - though it depends on your remembering at least a part of the page title,

@newworldman This is a feature suggestion forum, so the feature he's suggesting is to bring back tab grouping. I agree!
