Please enable desktop notifications

I've been using Opera for a while and I noted that it doesn't show desktop notifications of most websites, even when it asks to allow the notifications in every site. The sites I use more are YouTube and Discord, and at least Discord did show notifications, so I resisted until now.
Now, in the last update, not even Discord show notifications now, so I lost it.
Please, enable this feature!
I sawed in other posts that this isn't even considered as a priority by the developers, and I don't know why, because it's an important feature and at this point, is really stupid that this browser, one of the bests in the area, don't have it.
I'm gonna go back to Chrome just for that. -

Hello,
I use Opera GX and it also doesn't show notifications. Even enabling them.
Please developers, allow this. -

This is still a problem and I really hope this gets fixed soon.
I've had them working after enabling notifications for twitch but it broke shortly after and stopped sending me desktop notifications again. -

I gave up and just left Opera. Viv**** browser is even more functional and has properly working notifications. I was waiting for the fix for 2 years, but Opera devs just don't care about even such core things.
Just sad, Opera GX used to be the most promising browser. -

On Windows 11, notifications weren't working for me in Opera until on turned off Focus Assist in Settings -> System -> Notifications -> Focus Assist. It was turned on and set to Priority Only. I didn't try leaving it on and adding Opera to the priority list, but that might work too.
Edit: Only worked for a tad and then they stopped working again.

@burnout426 Jeez, who in this world hasn't disabled focus assist after OS installation?...
The problem persists in win7/8/10/11, 32bit/64bit, versions from 3* to the latest, from classic to GX, beta, etc... Any OS, any options, any notifications type. It lands deeply in browser architecture. The most browsers' notifications just work correctly. But Opera's don't, even after many hours of fix-trying. -
