Opera GX installing all my files

@leocg yeah that is the problem, when i uninstall opera gx it still installs the jar files. I wanted to install forge so i can play Minecraft with mods but it didnt work.

@leocg When i install a jar file on google, it shows the opera GX logo. After that i cant open the file because it has the opera GX logo.

@vaintrix Opera adds a temporary extension (opdownload) to files being downloaded, that is removed when the download ends. Sometimes that may not happen and the extension remains, check if it's not the case

@vaintrix Are you saying .jar files are associated with Opera GX in Windows instead of the Java Runtime Environment where double-left-clicking on a .jar file tries to open the .jar file in Opera GX instead of opening it with Java?
