Opera 85.0.4341.39 is an unmitigated disaster. Upon relaunch, Opera crashed, and when it rebooted, the crash report said all of my extensions were no longer displayed/available. What I found out is some of my extensions are no longer compatible with the new version of Opera, specifically Translator by sailormax; V7 Bookmarks by vux777. When trying to enable these, Opera crashes again. Uninstalling them and reinstalling only crashes Opera.
HELP!!

I confirm the fall of Opera.
After updating on Win 7 to version 85.0.4341.39, these three extensions Translator v.1.6.16 by sailormax / uBlock Origin / V7 Bookmarks v.4.8.0 by vux777 cause the browser to crash, the browser restarts and disables all active extensions, when you re-enable any of these two extensions, everything repeats. -

Install "Install Chrome Extensions" addon then install needed extensions from Chrome store.

Don't need that extension any longer to install Chrome extensions. All extensions found on the Chrome store install directly now. Besides, I removed the problem extensions and reinstalled them with the same result... Opera crash.

There is no such bug in Opera Beta and Dev. This is an oversight on the part of Opera's testers in the specific build of Opera 85.0.4341.39 Stable. Cause of crash -
sidebar_action
object in manifest.json file in such extensions from addons.opera.com -

As far as I tested, the bug with extensions is fixed in Opera 85.0.4341.47 Stable.

Kudos to the Opera development team for addressing this so quickly.
On a side note, the extension "Translator" by sailor max no longer appears in the extension bar; it is only accessible via right clicking on selected text. Hmmm...interesting

I usually do not have the sidebar showing, and because of that I liked the Translator extension to be visible in the extension row to the right of the address bar, like it was before this Opera update. Now Translator is accessible only via right click on the selected text within a web page - or from the sidebar. Therefore is there any way to have Translator visible in the extension row at the top right like it was before??
Thanks
