How to disable tabs list popup?

The pop up is very disruptive when you work with more than 4 or 5 tabs of the same site.
we Have To have the ability to turn off this awful functionality.

@vegaoscuro Yeah, that's why I've switched to Vivaldi now. Their devs are listening to the community and not forcing stupid changes down their throats.
Opera only cared about us when they were dying. Now all we get are middle fingers. A shame. -

This is such an awful feature, I can't believe they removed the option to disable it in the latest version. Opera used to be the best browser as it was so simple and had no clutter. Now it's just like all the others.

I am getting tired of Opera and their bullshit... To be honest, nothing is "unique" in Opera any more. If there is no update that fixes this annoying thing, I think that I will have to move from opera after 20 years of using it (and paying for it!).

This option is no longer available in the last two versions. Who knows how to remove this someone else's stupidity with a bunch of tabs from one in Opera_84.0.4316.21_Setup?

There is an option to switch to Opera GX - there is no such problem. Maybe it's for now: Version —LVL 3 (core: 83.0.4254.70)

The tab tooltips are back and there seems to be no way to get rid of the useless crappy things any more. It was a pain to disable the damned things before. Why can't we have a choice?
Anyone know how to disable them?
First world problems, but little things like this drive me crazy!!! -

Any news on this ?
The browser is currently unusable due to this world record bad feature.
Would be great to know if will be fixed or move to another browser directly. It takes away so much of my time and is extremely confusing

@leocg Yes I know, that's why I said it's not too much to ask for a setting to turn ot off.
I can't be bothered with idiots who can't be bothered to give us such a simple setting. So again I'll be looking to use a different browser if they're going to force annoying crap on me. -
