@marcheschi
Take a look at this two links below:
https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/530302-libffmpeg-so-and-Opera-browser-issue
https://www.ti-enxame.com/pt/opensuse/suporte-h.264-para-opera-e-opensuse/962659423/
(by the way, the second link is in portuguese and you can translate to english, if you need)I hope this helps you!

Finally some solution for those annoying page crashes, thanks!
For those who use Ubuntu/Debian based distros, I created a simple deb package for myself with Opera fixes (ffmpeg, widevine/DRM), feel free to use it: https://github.com/swanux/opera_codecs
(For automatic updates you can add my PPA as described here: https://swanux.github.io/hrepo.html) -

Hello
this works via a little roundabout...
I went to the server
https://repo.herecura.eu/herecura/x86_64
and searched in the directory for the right files
they are today, october 2ndopera-beta-ffmpeg-codecs-94.0.4606.54-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
already a version ahaed as the link above....
Anyway , I learned what is a .zst file ,
Installed zstd, decompressed it to .tar and decompressed it into the famous libffmpeg.so
Copied it into the "lib_extra" directory
And it WorksAgain a bit new learning for me in linux....
This is on Debian 11 on a intel core I3 laptop
Kind regards from F4VSJ, in Britany France -
