Why Opera browser is running in the background, it consumes a lot of battery
I'm looking at the battery usage Opera browser is constantly running in the background. I stop it and it works again. Is there a solution for this?

@karatay Did you try exiting the browser, using the power icon?

@karatay If you're in Tablet mode, there is an On/Off icon on the right side of Settings on the hamburger menu. I don't use phone mode and can't say where it is there.

If you simply use your device's Back button Opera is still running in the background so it will start up quicker, and also so it can send notifications if you haven't disabled that.

@karatay Try cleaning cache or check if you granted the autostart permission to the app mistakenly. If problem will not fixed then you should try erasing app data or uninstall and reinstall technique. It works in almost each situation.
