This no longer works with the latest Opera update. Using Windows 10 Home Version 20H2. You can just ignore the popup. It still works if you don't get password right, but you can just ignore it and click on the browser and use it.

I discovered a vulnerability in the add-on. If the opera is opened on the second display, the window ignores the password.

@weirdosun
I'd rather say that it ignores it whatsoever !
If you read previous messages, you'll see that since latest opera updates, it plugin doesn't work anymore. -

Which makes me write this message ...
In opera plugin list, there's another locker which works fine.
Though it is much heavier than this one and if your pc isn't fast, you'll have to wait for the browser to open...I didn't want to change, but as long as this issue is not solved, as per the * in place of characters, i'll go with the other one.

Hello.
The extension doesn't work.
When I open Opera, a second window appears where you need to enter a password. Go to the first Opera window and work in all tabs. The second window for the password can simply be ignored -

Interestingly, same extension still works on Chrome browser. -

Don't work in last Opera or Opera GX in Windows 10. I using the portable version.
You can just ignore the dialog box and it let get in the bowser.
Deveria bloquear o acesso ao navegador Opera e talvés o Opera GX através de senha mas a caixa de dialogo pode ser ignorada deixando o navegador aberto para uso. -

@eswaryaga:
I am sorry for my late answer. I could not get online for a while.
It is working with new opera systems. However, when you first open the opera and click anywhere then bypass the Set password app. and you can use opera normally -

@shutter
Since same extension still works in Chrome, is it possible you can fix this for Opera?
Thanks -

@denistablica I am using a plugin that make chrome plugins work in Opera in my other Opera Browser. But I didn't tried this plugin there. I am using other one. It is called "Install Chrome Extensions".

@cooolmailat96 Because only Opera for desktops supports extensions.
