After upgrading to Opera 76 Stable last week I've encountered a weird issue: when hitting ctrl+shift+T Opera reopens a tab from the past (usually the first tab opened in that browsing session), and in a new window. It always reopens the same tab, no matter how many times I press the keys.
The problem resets when I close Opera. It does sometime work properly (1% of the time).

Confirm. Version 76.0.4017.107. Opening recently closed tabs doesn't work.

Same issue here. Ctrl + Shit + T opens a random tab, from the same (or different) browsing session.
The actual problem is that the recently closed tab (magnifying glass) does not update the tabs.
Worked fine in Opera 75. -

Worked fine in Opera 75.This problem exists for me with the latest Opera 76 on Linux, also.

I have the same issue, the "Reopen last closed tab" option is not working properly.
So for example, if I close Opera and open it, the "Reopen last closed tab" will work for a while, but after using Opera for a couple of minutes the "Reopen last closed tab" won't work properly anymore and will open a random tab and not the previous one that was closed recently. I'm using the latest Opera version btw and this issue is not fixed yet.

Hello! I have a problem with opening a recently closed tubs. For some reason when I press "Open last closed tab" in the tabs section, the browser opens a new window with a tab that I closed several hours ago. It also doesn't remember the last tabs that I closed.
My version of Opera is 76.0.4017.123

@leocg Oh, sorry, I wrote the wrong version. Today I updated Opera to 76.0.4017.123 version and it works okay!

Little bit confusing, but seems to be fixed for me after a Windows update today...?

Opera version 76.0.4017.123 didn't fixed this annoying issue for me, how is this issue taking so long to get fixed? I've never had this issue before, it only started happening recently.
So annoying.

Yes, it is rather glaring. Hopefully, this coming week will resolve this issue.

I have this issue too since some time back. Really old tabs open instead of the recently closed one when doing Ctrl + Shift + T. Doesn't always happen. Seems more likely to happen if you've had the browser open for a long time and been doing lots of browsing.

Windows update has nothing to do with this.
If you restart opera it may work properly for few minutes or hours but issue will come back. -

Sorry for writing the translator
This phenomenon occurs once you start closing the window.
When a symptom occurs, "Reopen Tab" will not work, but "Reopen Window" will work to open the closed window. And if you close the window multiple times, "Reopen Window" works like "Reopen Tab". When you reopen the window you closed the first time, "Reopen Tab" works again.
The bottom line is that "Reopen Tabs" only works in the window you opened the first time.
