How do I disable Opera Force Dark Mode?

I tried doing.
opera://flags/#enable-force-darkand disable it through easy setup, but it still uses it.

@vrremi Are you talking about Opera GX by chance? Regular Opera doesn't have the Force Dark Mode option.

@vrremi So sites still load with a dark theme?
Did you try cleaning cookies and cache? -

@leocg Sorry for the late response, for some reason I get delayed notifications. Yes I just tried that and it still doesn't work after restarting the browser.

I'm having the exact same issue. Especially with the sidebar apps, such as WhatsApp and Messenger. They're forced dark mode, even though I've deactivated it manually hundreds of time, it simply doesn't deactivate at all.

On the basic settings page, gx settings the last option is also "Force dark pages". Turn this off and go to https://web.whatsapp.com you will be able to login and then just open the sidebar one, it will ask you if you want to transfer.
