I always thought that Google redirect was no more. Until I found it after the first click on the link:
Was it intended to do so or is it a bug?

@viman23 See https://forums.opera.com/topic/23068/instructions-on-posting-about-problems-in-opera-for-computers
Hi Ok, to be specific, all of these factos are irrelevant because I tried with Opera USB 68.0.3618.125 Fresh Install Vanilla No Extension + All Default + No Modification
- Disable all extensions
- Disable the ad-blocker
- Reset settings to default
- Reset flags to default
- Create a clean profile folder/directory
And regarding these two factors:
- Temporarily disable antivirus, firewall, anti-malware and all related software in your system
- If the problem is with a web page, check if it works with other browsers.
Tried with Chrome on 2 other PCs and Laptop with Win7 and Win10. Issues persist only in Opera. My question would be: do you reproduce the same issue with freshly installed Opera USB (or not) of any version in Incognito (or normal mode)?

If you have javascript enabled, then link is direct, but javascript reports clicked link to google.
If you have javascript disabled, then all search results are linked through google.Opera is not altering google behavior (and IMO has never done that). There are extensions available, removing such redirects from google results.
