I do not know if it is the same problem as this but since the last two updates it is very common to find the "Error loading profile" warning when I open Opera after turning on my Windows 7 PC. Sometimes, I reopen it and everything works fine but other times I check that the history is saved but not the sessions of all the websites and I have to log in again.

I've been observing this issue with Opera Browser since December 2019.
I sent e-mail to the company, who " didn't understand the trouble", at that time, they asked me to send snapshots of the problem. I did, until today, I' m waiting for the answer.
In summary, this problem of loss of passwords, synchronization, even the language used, has not been solved since December 2019 -

@AltairAssassins
Update:
My problem is fixed somehow magically. I did nothing, no update, no reset/ recovery.
It just saved my cookie and password as used to, work exactly what it does before.
This is really strange. -

I got the same problem on the same version. It was an unpleasant surprise that not only the authorization on the sites and in Opera Sync was not saved, but also some passwords disappeared. It seems that in version 67.0.3575.97, the developers fixed these oddities.

The most unfortunate is the silence of Opera, in the meantime, they keep their marketing job, and they don't resolve the issues that we all users are facing.
There' s a Spanish saying: "El silencio otorga" (Silence grants) -

Since I installed this version Opera doesn't save the passwords.
Delete cookies isn't enabled. No option to save the passwords appears. -

@AltairAssassins said in Opera for desktop v. 67.0.3575.79 doesn't save pass and cookies.:
@leocg I don't lie. It's the same issue
That message was directed to @avmon (not you) about a different issue...

With Opera 67.0.3575.97 64-bit on Windows 10 OS Version 1909 (Build 18363.720), Opera asks to save passwords no problem. Clicking "Save" saves the login info and it's still saved through a restart of Opera. (Fresh Opera profile and not using Opera Sync). Test with Google login too.
If you've tried with a fresh profile, but enabled Opera Sync before trying, try with a fresh profile without enabling Opera Sync to see if Sync is the cause. Sync can cause all types of problems.
Also, goto the URL
opera://settings/passwords
and make sure "Offer to save passwords" is enabled.Also, in the past, a couple of users said they had problems with Opera not saving passwords and found a fix. Their wifi connection in Windows was marked as public instead of private. Once they switched the connection to "private", things worked fine. For me though, it doesn't matter if my connection is public or private. But, it's something you can try.

Opera is updating every day, now version is 67.0.3575.115, but what the hell - opera can't save pass and cookies. I tried to full uninstall, but it doesn't work. When i enter the password, opera asks to save this password - but button "Save" not working.
