      He all,

I'm using Opera 43.0.2442.806 (PGO) on Windows 10 and I'm having this issue with some websites. Out of a sudden, Opera renders the website using mobile agent even though the website itself is launched in desktop mode. A refresh corrects the situation and load the desktop version instead.

I don't have any agent switcher extension installed. And although I don't have a comprehensive list of the affected sites, this one (http://www.youm7.com/) is affected often and switched on first load to (http://m.youm7.com/).

That behaviour does not exist with other popular browsers like Chrome or Firefox so I think I may drop the possibility of problems with the sites themselves.

      Any idea? thanks.

Opera is Chromium, so it is the site - or you have zoom set too high. (We had someone a couple of days ago who had accidentally set zoom to 500% and was getting a mobile version because they thought his screen was too small.)

It is weird that Opera does this while Chrome does not since both use Chromium in the core. I just tried with latest Chrome and the same site loads fine.

Yes I do use zoom but not too high (120% on Opera vs 125% on Chrome) but still the issue persist on Opera only.

          Thanks,

It's usually the site treating Opera as a mobile browser.

            BTW, http://www.youm7.com/ loads correctly here.

That make sense, I will try using agent switchers and see ...

It will not always do. Sometimes it will redirect to mobile site and so are other websites that I just encountered. Here's a record showing that same site switching: https://youtu.be/jAfky0KnRwQ
