burnout426 Volunteer last edited by burnout426Download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import data from default browser" and install. Test in that Opera, but do not enable Opera Sync, do not enable Opera's adblocker and do not install any extensions. How do things work there? For DRM tests, if necessary, goto the URL opera://componentsand make sure Widevine is updated. Just make sure it's version 4 something.Windows 7 X64 Prof There's an "N" version of Windows 7 Professional. Are you saying you don't have the "N" version? shark007 codecs installed Codec packs unfortunately do not help with browsers playing back media. They can help with Windows Media Player, but not browsers.

If you right-click on the "Computer" or "This PC" shortcut and goto "properties". (Basically "System" in the Control panel), under Windows edition, it should have an "N" after Windows 7 Pro.

burnout426 Volunteer last edited by burnout426Try uninstalling and reinstalling Windows Media Player. As in, turn the feature off and then turn it back on. Click the Start button
 Click Control Panel
 Click Programs
Click Turn Windows features on or off.Look in there to see if there's some Windows Media codecs feature or something too.
