Hi its been a long time since i used Opera and i see in the latest version i am unable to delete sites search history the X at the end of the search title is missing,is there a workaround for this

Are you talking about in the address field drop-down or at the URL opera://history or the history panel in the sidebar?

in the address field drop-down,there used to be an X at the end of the search request but i see that is no longer there.

If you don't see the X, it's because the entry does not come from the history but from a marker, an Opera suggestion or somewhere else.

Shift delete deletes it from the search window but if i click the window again the item is still in the dropdown menu.i want to DELETE it not just remove it from the search window,As for the X i do not have it,any suggestions on how i can resolve this?

Choppa, are you able to successfully delete OTHER entries that DO come from the history? Have you looked for this url among your markers?
