Kindly check if you allowed push notification from any website while using opera browser
Whatever is worth doing at all, is worth doing with perfection.

What do you mean? The notification bar i am referring to is the one from your main computer page at the bottom right.
Even when i am using other browser, the opera icon appear there and i have to close it. -

Open the Windows Task Manager and look at the "Startup" tab. Is Opera in the list?
In Opera, goto the URL
opera://about
and check for updates to make sure you have the newest version. Maybe Opera's updater is placing an icon in the systray because you need to update. Never saw Opera do that, so just guessing. You can load the Windows Task Scheduler, disable Opera's updater tasks, restart Windows and see if that makes a difference. -

Could it be this?
Yes. The Opera assistant gets installed when Opera is installed as part of a bundle (for an anti-virus program for example). Uninstall Opera while keeping your data, delete Opera's program files folder afterwards, download Opera from opera.com and install it. That should fix it.

I uninstall and reinstall it but i did not delete the opera program files folder. Everything seems fine. So isit fine if i did not delete the opera program file?

@gbras Yeah, it's fine. As long as the notification program is gone, you're good.
