Hi there,
I have an old PC running on Windows XP SP3 and as far as i know, Opera 36 is the last supported version on XP. I installed Opera 36 and working fine except JAVA, which has been dropped by Chromium community later. But when I check available pluins by checking "opera://plugins", the correct Java NPAPI (npjp2.dll) plug-in is detected just fine by Opera.I set "Run all plug-in content" in settings menu (websites submenu), but still none of JAVA applets are being loaded. Just empty page!
So, the question, why isn't JAVA working on Opera as long as it's found and listed fine in opera://plugins list?
Any help is appreciated!
Update/Edit: I found some info that actually versions prior to Opera 34 (34 is not included) are the ones that support JAVA Plug-in. Is there any safe download location of version 32 (or 33 if there is) for me to make Java work?
Best regards.
