Whenever I go to Yahoo 'HOME' page using Opera to read the news and I click on a news item. When i scroll down the news story pic jumps over to the left and covers part of the text plus my responses are inoperative.
Anyone else getting this?
I am using the Opera Ad blocker.
I have tried resetting Opera and downloading latest version closing and restarting but no difference.Using CHROME - no probs

So, you're saying one should be able to goto https://news.yahoo.com/iran-says-europe-not-implementing-053449197.html and scroll down to see the problem?

No. That works fine
Go here - https://news.yahoo.com
and click on any one of the (5) top news stories, then scroll down. -

I then scroll down, but I don't see the news story pic jumping to the left.

@burnout426 Yes, getting the same issues. Noticed it when Opera updated to the version 63.0.3368.53 Once those other story lines pop up, you are restricted in any action you try to take. I noticed that if you scroll further down, there is a break that does let you work within that page.

@JBsurfin
Well I'm glad its not just me then.I have found that sometimes when the problem arises, turning adblocker off seems to work and sometimes turning it on also seems to work??

Hmm, I can test with the adlblocker on to see if I can reproduce.

Test in 63.0.3368.71 on Windows 10. Not seeing the issue. I with and without the adblocker just to see if I could get it to happen, but couldn't.
Could you make a video of it though just so everyone is clear what's happening? If that's too much, a screenshot will suffice.

This is when you first open the yahoo page, not Biden on the lower right
-

@burnout426 Now, once you scroll down on the same page, Biden shows up on the left. At that point, the entire page is locked and you can't move that pop up or respond to comments.
You can cancel that pop up out either, sometimes there are 2 or 3 pop up showing, so you can't even read that page.

Ok. I sent a report to Opera and then rebooted.
Returned 20 mins ago and problem seems to have gone away for now.
I am running Windows 7 incidentally.
Good news, it seems. I hope it stays like this.

I've had trouble with many Yahoo pages for the last 3 iterations of Opera. As often as not, the videos and graphic images are blank.

@bbildman Yep, running into that. Seems to be cleared up by turning off ad blocker and close and open again..

I have tried resetting Opera
Did you just use the reset option in Opera's settings or did you actually delete your profile folder (as seen in
opera://about
? The latter would be better to try if you haven't.Thanks for the screenshots.
