Saving Passwords with Invalid SSL Cert

I am looking at moving from Firefox to Opera but I am having problems with sites that use invalid or self signed SSL certs. Those sites are not saving passwords or using already saved passwords (imported from Firefox). As a network admin, I am constantly configuring switches, servers, and many other devices that have invalid or self signed SSL certs and I want to save those passwords rather than type them constantly. Is there a flag that can be turned on or off to make Opera save passwords when the SSL cert is not valid? Also, can Opera remember when I select to approve an invalid certificate?
Thanks!

Hello,
I am also facing the same issue, always configuring internal servers with self-signed certificate, and cannot remember password.
Did you find a solution to remembering passwords in these scenarion?
Thank you!

@caraboy2001 I gave up on Opera saving passwords for invalid SSL sites. I went back to Firefox where it just has a warning but still allows these sites to remember passwords.
