I have a R1 PLUS from BLU, Android 6.0, and my opera keeps opening a new tab with a redirecting link that leads to this website https://www.51happlay.com/ everytime, I still don't know for sure how it works, but most of the times when I lock and unlock my smartphone, opera opens itself already on a new tab redirecting to that website.

I pretty much fabric reseted the phone to see if it would go away and it didn't work, I really didn't install any new app before this started occuring. And I can't find any weird app with no icon or Name on my installed apps. I can't find the source of this problem. Antivirus won't find anything wrong either

Where did you get that version of Opera from? Looks like someone's idea of what a browser start page should look like, though I can't verify whether it is actually safe. If the phone came with Opera it is possible they set it up this way. If the phone didn't come with Opera and you installed it from the Play Store then it shouldn't be doing that.

Your question reminded me of reports of factory installed malware on the devices of some smartphone vendors a few years ago, including BLU Products.

I've looked this up again, and although I don't know who or what is responsible for your specific Opera behaviour, I'd rather not recommend using your smartphone model.

It came with the phone with an older version and I updated it on the Playstore. The weird thing is, it's been 2 years ever since I got this phone, and it never did that, which makes me think some other app is the cause of this, even after I factory reseted and didn't install all the apps I had, just the very older ones, whatsapp, my bank apps, Reddit and Spotify.

I copied the redirect link If It helps:

Always leads to that happlay thing

I don't recommend any BLU smartphones at all, they never updated my android and I have this full screen video problem on any browser that makes the video go tiny and place it on the top left corner of the screen then the rest of the screen goes green, happens with gifs as well.

Maybe Malwarebytes for Android can identify the cause for this annoyance (this app is mentioned on the first website I listed).

So, I tried this app and it found a trojan apperantly, but it's a system app so I can only deactivate it, is this the cause of my problem? Can I really deactivate this system app?

                Here's the app's name:

The app that found the Trojan has its own forum.

Perhaps it would make sense to discuss the further procedure there, because that forum deals with exactly such topics, and you could also get help to make sure that the reported Trojan is not a false positive for example.

                    Good luck.

There have been cases of Trojans that add themselves to existing apps, so you need to find a way of refreshing the app in question (restoring it to the proper version).

@sgunhouse, @yanta I googled more about this "preinstall data2" and found out it is an adware, not a malware, and I just remembered that a year back I did block this app's notifications because it was spamming random ads on my notification bar, it all makes sense now, I'm impressed this app found a way to annoy me again 1 year later by other means, I decided to force stop it and deactivate it yesterday, opera didn't open itself ever since, I guess it's solved.

Thank you two for helping 👍
