which products and versions of Opera are you using for sync?
Version:62.0.3331.72
Update channel:Stable
System:Windows 10 64-bit (WoW64) -

@mgeffro
- No, only the speed dials of my other two devices
- The only "error" tag is: "Auth Error - OK since browser startup", so I guess the answer is "no".
- Here I do see an entry for the device with the cleared speed dial, but it only contains the one remaining folder including four bookmarks.
- Strange, I can no longer access the Extensions page... I do know that I have Google Translator and SaveFrom.net extensions installed
- Opera WIN 62.0.3331.72 (Opera OPR/62.0.3331.72) channel(Stable)
I managed to recuperate my speed dial from my other device which I disconnected from the network before opening Opera, so on the short term the problem is solved. I haven't recreated my speed dial on the affected device yet, so I can still test if needed...
cheers

4. Strange, I can no longer access the Extensions page... I do know that I have Google Translator and SaveFrom.net extensions installedSecurity researcher Sam Jadali has found that some Firefox and Chrome extensions collect user data and sell it to third parties. The type of data collection may also make it possible to identify specific individuals.
These questionable extensions include
- Hover Zoom
- SpeakIt!
- SuperZoom,
- SaveFrom.net Helper
- FairShare Unlock
- PanelMeasurement.
Google and Mozilla have now blocked these extensions. Maybe there's some connection with your situation.

Browser Opera history in brief:
• The inability to compete with the help of its own engine led to the transition to the Chrome engine.
• The inability to ensure continuity with the browser versions on the old engine led to the abandonment of support for everything that happened before.
• The inability to nevertheless continue to do its work led to the sale of the company to a Chinese firm.
• Now we have come to the inability to even adjust the process of synchronization and saving user bookmarks and Speed Dials on their local computers.I have been using Opera for over 10 years, and all these ten years I have been watching all this with my own eyes. It is sad. Very sad.

I used Opera for a long time.
It is a pity that because of such a mistake will have to give it up forever. -

Really odd no one seems to know what this is
Opera just allow us to properly save a backup copy of our bookmarks
The system at moment is poor -

Current status is that this issue should no longer appear, unfortunately removed Speed Dials are gone.

Yes, but it is ironic that Opera seems to fail to have proper backups on their servers. If they had proper backups restoring the lost data would have been able to do.
I will never get an Opera account since they fail to properly backup data on a regular basis, read daily basis.

As of Opera for Mac v62, all Speed Dial items have spontaneously disappeared! I launched Opera and all of them were just gone.
Is there anyway to restore them?

I guess we will need to recreate our bookmarks.

@gmiazga
please ignore, I've solved it for my laptop
@offonja said in My Speed dials suddenly deleted:@gmiazga
Now the folders appear on Speed Dial in chronological order and I cannot change it as the browser resets the order after restart.
Can you look in the issue? -

Hi folk,
I could get my speed dial back on my laptop.
I'm using Opera on two phones, a tablet and a laptop. Synchronization is on at all devices. I did the following:- 'Reset sync data' on https://sync.opera.com/web/#
- Signed off from Opera on laptop and each of my phones.
- Signed in on each phone.
- Once sync on each phone was complete I signed in on the laptop.
- Wait for a while and all Speed dial bookmarks got back.
I hope it helps you with the issue.
