Running Opera in PC Windows 7, how do I open new tab, and open a program, and automatically log into that program?

For example, I open Opera every morning. I open a tab call "Diary" and inside I run Google Calendar linked to my co-workers' Calendars. I want Opera to automatically log me into this Calendar account.

@jgy2001 On settings page you can set up a page (or more) to be opened when you start Opera.

Automatic login may depend on the site.

@leocg well, that is NOT true. We use ALL other popular good Windows Browsers, they ALL click a tap, then open exact same page and login automatically. For example, weather page for our city or our daily calendar pages.

Well, Opera is the ONLY one browser does not know how to log in same exact page daily. Please do not blame and point fingers at each pages. Its your browser that does not know how to log in.

@jgy2001 We are talking about being logged in to a site automatically or we are talking about be kept logged in between sessions?

@leocg we are talking about open a tab, this URL open a new web page, and Opera does not know or able to automatically log in at this new session.

All the other major browsers DO automatically log in at this new sessions, except Opera does not and unable to do so.

Looks like you have some kind of cookies disabled or similar - for me those sites, which can remember me (eg google) do automatically login me as well.

@jgy2001 And the answer to my question would be...?

One thing is to be automatically logged in to site in which you weren't previously logged in and another thing is to return to a site in which you are already logged in.

@leocg every morning after we booted up, we log into calendar. ALL popular browsers are smart enough to let us log in, EXCEPT Opera.

@leocg we do nothing to all our browsers. We just log off our PC systems and go home. All other browsers works fine, except Opera.

@jgy2001 So if you go to Google Calendar using Opera and login, what happens? And what happens when you go to that site again in the next day?

@leocg every morning when we come into the office, we turn on the PC computers. When we open the Opera browser, it open the calendar page and just sit there waiting for us to log in. All other browser log in automatically. Well, we will remove Opera.

@jgy2001 So it doesn't remember you when you open the page again in next day?
Are cookies being removed when the browser is closed?
Are you remembered in other pages?
