Netflix is opening the Sweden site, but the region I have selected is America

I'm trying to watch the catalog of the US Netflix, but the site keeps thinking the conection is from Sweden, and the region I have selected is americas. What to do?

@edumanke I'm having the same problem, can't seem to find anyone who can/is willing to help. Have emailed Opera twice now and have had no response, If you have found a solution please let me know

You need to contact Netflix and ask them why they are thinking that your connection comes from a different place.

Your location is not sent by the browser. If the site requests your geolocation and you allow to send it, then the location set on your OS will be sent to the browser.

Since you said "the region I have selected" you are obviously using the VPN ... the site will know you are using the VPN and thus may not show you the content for that region. I mean, Google shows VPN users content for the Ukraine.

I have this issue too, I'm from the UK, but Netflix shows "Netflix Sweden", instead of "Netflix America".

If I choose Asia/Europe, etc., it works fine.
