Add-ons: disabled
No tabs.
Opera run and... 5 sec later the CPU is 100%. Unusable and never drops. -

Not happening here. Or not noticiable at least.
Do you have many SD entries?

For some reason, it is incredibly busy here as well. Windows 7 x64. Opera 20 (same SD entries) is fine, Opera Next 21 is very slow.

Nop, almost the default.
I deleted two and added two (Google Image and Google Traslate). -

Now posting from 21 Developer (the last version before 21 Next) and no issues there either.
On my system, it seems like some sort of old-fashioned "garbage collection" ... roughly every 5 minutes, Opera 21 Next will completely freeze for somewhat over 30 seconds, even when all I'm doing is replying in these forums. Even without clicking any links - and there aren't any plug-ins here.
Oh, in this forum quotes are done with ">" at the left margin.

Thanks, I didn't know the Developer version (I thought Next was it).
I tried the Developer version and... it worked!!. But of course, now I had nothing.
Then I copied all the files from the Next's userprofile then... again 100% CPU and very slow.I assumed the problem was some file. I tried here and there and the problem file was History. Apparently this file was fu**ed in the update. Delete it and no problem.

Thanks again. I tried clicking the ´´ button, but didn't work in Opera 12.

Strange ... I wouldn't think the install would touch anything in you profile, Maybe we're both right - it is history, and will come back once the file gets large enough.
