@gtk As I said above version in Opera store is 4.2, but latest one is 4.7. One more thing - I have scripts in my current instance and I can't init it to move scripts, Should I rewrite it from the scratch?!

@iw0rb just copy everything from \AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera [Stable or Dev or Beta]\Local Extension Settings\dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo to the folder from opera web-site (m-something), it will pick up
Installed beta-version of tampermonkey from chrome extension store, so far so good

This post shows how to re-enable Tampermonkey. -> https://forums.opera.com/post/162138

Then please export your scripts (with script storage) and install Tampermonkey BETA from the Chrome Web Store. It is not blacklisted (at the moment). 🤞

I already contacted the review team via my Opera extension developer account and they are saying, that they have a reasonable suspicion that Tampermonkey is also distributed by some malware. I'll update the Opera version as soon as possible.

            Sorry for any inconvenience. 😢

The Tampermonkey Opera update to version 4.8.5890 was unlocked by Opera. So you now can also use the Opera version: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/tampermonkey-beta/

@derjanb Many thanks! Will that be kept current moving forward, or should we stick with the Chrome beta (or regular version if it becomes unblocked)?

@tarkus It'll be updated with the Firefox (stable) version, which means at least every 3 month or so.

You can install the Tampermonkey extension from the opera add-ons, but unfortunately you can't get back your installed scripts, which means you'll have to install them all over again. Kinda disappointing not being able to see at least what you've had installed and the only thing you can do is to remove the extension.

                    Technical details:
                    System: Mac OS X 10.12.2 64-bit
                    Opera Version: 57.0.3098.116

Not true. Tampermonkey has the built-in ability to export to the cloud and then import from the cloud to another version of Tampermonkey. In fact, I just did that, switching from the Chrome version to the Opera version. Very simple to do.

Latest TamperMonkey update seems to work again.
(At least it works on ODev)

@leocg Ha! In order to put it from your store, you need to bring it to mind. Who will put the ancient expansion. Moderation after all goes for years

@leocg No, you can't. And even if you hack into the preferences database and re-enable it, Opera disables it again later. This wouldn't be as much of a problem if there was an obvious way to override this stupid feature.
