    Is there a way to stop speed dial tiles from shifting their order?

      So much that's great about this Chromium generation of Opera Browser for Mac, including the ability to use Chrome Browser extensions. But I don't understand the logic behind Opera's constant re-shuffling of Speed dial tiles. The only thing I can think of is that they clearly get paid for promotion of their default tiles. Is that why Amazon tiles seem to always manage to push themselves back up to Row 1, even after I keep dragging them to the very bottom of the grid?

        There's a setting to avoid those promoted speed dials to appear.

          @leocg Right, understood. I'd already disabled those a month ago, and I just reconfirmed that "feature" is still turned off. I'm asking about all the speed dial tiles that I created by clicking the heart icon in the address bar, customized, then arranged into the sequence I wanted.

          Here:

          BEFORE-- THE WAY I HAVE SET IT UP, iver and over and over:

          AFTER QUITTING OPERA, LATER OPENING AGAIN:

          Is it clear now? Do you know how to prevent this from happening? Look at the labor involved to manually re-adjust them to the way you want them

            Sorry, this won't help you, but I never had this problem with Opera. My speed dial tiles are always in the same order I wanted and never shifted. It must be some preference that not works well.

              Don't know, maybe something related to sync?
              I don't use speed dials currently but, back on the time when I used to use it, I didn't have such problems.

                @operaoperandi @leocg

                Hey thank you both very much! That makes sense that it would relate to Sync. I have Opera browser on 2 macs, and on my android phone. (It's been my primary mobile browser for 12 years! ) ... I guess I should do a Bookmarks Export to an html file, and at least protect the state of "how things are right now"... Now that it's clear to me y'all don't/didn't have this problem of shifting tile order, I will focus on my end. Good night
