Where Is The Offline Installer For Opera ?

I'm driving myself mad, I cannot find the offline package for Opera anywhere on Operas site. Even Filehippo only has the stub installer. I want all the files in one folder so they can be scanned via Virus Total. Can someone give me the exact url for the offline package ? Thanks

You can always download from http://get.opera.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/

Interestingly, the offline package is still offered when you visit the download page with Firefox:

Perhaps Opera expects an upgrade installation to be performed when visiting the site using an Opera browser, which may not require downloading the full offline package, but only a portion of it, which could reduce the load on the Opera servers.
The offline package has a size of 52 MB only, but with a high number of downloads this could be quite relevant.
That was my consideration when I made the same observation as @mike88, but I may be wrong.

They are missing a niche here - people who want to download the offline installer to install it on a friend's computer. They used to have a direct link on the Opera for Windows page even when viewed from Opera. I recall a few times I downloaded both Opera and an antivirus suite and threw them on a USB stick to install on a system that wasn't currently connected to the internet but would be in the near future.

I also prefer to be able to install programs offline, without having to download files from the internet during that process. For this reason I don't like this stub installer.
When I noticed that when visiting the download page with Opera the offline package is no longer offered, I later came across the fact that with Firefox (and probably also other browsers) a download is still possible.
If this possibility were no longer given, the possibility described by @leocg would still remain, whereby I am surprised here that there seem to be three very similar addresses:

I want to be able to find the full offline installer for Opera as I use the installer to update various machines via checking on Virustotal first. I was told on one thread to go to http://get.opera.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop Firstly this is not an https secure site and secondly the latest version 57.0.3098.106 at the time of writing is not listed despite being available via the "about opera" setting in the browser for sometime. The trouble with that is that it takes about five attempts to get the update. Does anyone at Opera read these comments ? Someone suggested to get the offline package "the old way" using Firefox. I do not have Firefox on my computer, only Opera and Vivaldi. Thankfully Vivaldi still offers the offline package for Opera so that addresses my concerns for now . ***Whats the point of Opera removing it from its own pages ? ***

Thanks for the link, would it work for upcoming versions of Opera by substituting the version number ?

Probably yes. But you can just go to https://get.opera.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/ to find the latest version, they are always uploaded there even before getting an announcement post in the blog.

@naseefmazumder
These versions are obsolete in the meantime and should not be installed anymore, as the newer versions fix bugs and security issues.
