Is there a way to change users or profiles?

I have a few different things that I need multiple social media accounts for. I am looking for a way to switch users or profiles in opera so I can save different sets of logins. This will keep me from having to log in and out several times a day on different websites. Is there a built in feature or maybe an extension?

You can load up a private window for each set of alternate logins and keep the windows open.
You can create extra shortcuts to Opera's launcher.exe.
"C:\Program Files\Opera\launcher.exe" "--user-data-dir=C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Profile 2" "C:\Program Files\Opera\launcher.exe" "--user-data-dir=C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Profile 3"
(name the folders whatever you want)
You can download Opera's installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder, set "install for" to "standalone installation" and install. You can do multiple ones of these, create shortcuts to their launcher.exes and put those shortcuts where you want and name them how you want.
Example "install path":
C:\Users\yourusername\My Program Files\Opera 2
(name the folder whatever you want)
There might be an add-on at https://addons.opera.com/en/ that does something, but not sure. There might be one at https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions, but also not sure. Install https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/download-chrome-extension-9/ to be able to download from the latter.

@burnout426 I can't believe I didn't think of this. I tried looking on the opera store and the chrome store. Couldn't find anything useful. Would making a separate instance of opera in a different path have any adverse affects such as eating resources or causing lag (I only need 2 or 3 instances)?

@leocg wait, would I be able to install more than one instance of the portable onto a flashdrive and do it from there? Would that mess up my flashdrive to run 3 instances of it? Would that be the better option considering I use multiple computers?
Also, would it be a good idea to suggest a "multi-profile" feature somewhere?

It might use a little more RAM, but nothing to worry about.

You can do that.

I wouldn't think so. You'd have some more writes compared to one instance that could technically wear out the drive faster. But, the difference is probably insignificant.

It can be a good option. But, it will depend on the performance of the Flash drive. Opera might run slow on it. You'd have to try.

Chromium has support for it. I think Opera just needs to hook into it to make it work. There's already a suggestion for it in the features request forum. https://forums.opera.com/topic/24824/multiple-user-profile-support
