How to increase maximum connexions for Opera 55?

Hi! I'm Elvira and this is my first time in the forum. Please, could someone teach me how to increase the maximum connexions for Opera 55? My browser is a little slow and I was told that I should increase the simultaneous number of connexions.

What version of Windows, and what type of network?

There was such a setting in Opera 10 (years ago); I don't think current versions have that setting.

Chromium-based browsers like Chrome, Opera and Vivaldi don't have their own network stack. They use the Windows network stack. So, if you want to modify connection stuff like that, you'd have to do it in Windows (where it will also affect IE/Edge). In searching, I found this way to do it. It involves modifying the Windows registry at your own risk. I also didn't test it myself.
