Same here. Getting so frustrated with Opera. Maybe time to drop the loyalty and just go the Chrome route?

It seems that it only / mostly occures with forwarded videos. I can see some directly sent videos. Anybody here who can confirm?

@walhalla I can't see direct videos and forwarded videos... all videos with this error to me

Yes, you are right!!! It doesnt depend on it. The only videos I can see are those which are already downloaded - local on my PC! It seems that there is a problem with downloading the videos. I deactivated firewalls, v-scan, everything. It doesnt work!

Today, I received an opera update to 54.0.2952.71 and was hoping .... but nothing changed

@giba85 If you close the video and then open it again, it wil play normally. But the developers need to solve this issue.

Hey, got a good news for you all. If you enable flag opera://flags/#dynamic-demuxer-selection issue should be resolved. It's still disabled by default in 54.0.2952.71 and will be enabled be default when 55 goes stable but you should be safe to turn it on now.

Same problem here for weeks! I was finally able to solve it with this flag change. Thank you!!
Meanwhile I was using either my phone or Vivaldi to playback the videos.

Therefor you should use Telegram ( https://telegram.org )! Never will lose anything, more stable, more comfortable, more functions, more SAFE, usable with several devices and they dont rob your data ...
