My Speed Dial page has been a great boon - until now! I have icons for most used sites on the page which has until today always had a scrolling button down the right hand side.
This has now gone - why?
The scrolling wheel on the mouse works but I have found that scrolling mice are prone to failure in the scroll wheel whereas the buttons usually work fine and it is the buttons I prefer to use.
Is there any way to regain the side scrolling slider button?

@cliveshep What scrolling button? I've never seen that.

Or are you talking about some scroll bar?

cliveshep, this is THE most incredible takeaway I have seen since Hector was a pup. As IF it wasn't bad enough that just before this, it was hidden in black on black.

Yes, leocg, the scroll bar on the right hand side of the Speed Dial page. I've actually reopened Firefox, that's how incredible this takeaway is.

Opera, please take the pencil away from the chimp who managed to sneak into your office and return the scroll bar. Thanks ever so much.

@laramie66 There are enough speed dials to create a scroll bar? Even so the scroll bar doesn't show up?

I have no scroll bar. Can't remember if there was one ever. But the scroll function works fine anyway.

                Yes, there are.

Even so the scroll bar doesn't show up?

My netbook's display resolution is 1024x600.

My fifteen speed dial entries need four rows to be displayed, if zoom is set to 100%.

As my two screenshots prove, Opera doesn't show a scroll bar, although not all Speed Dials are visible.

The same goes for me, @deestonic.

However, a scroll bar would make sense, in my view.

                    FWIW:

As I'm trying to capture a full page screenshot with all of my Speed Dials (including those being not visible without scrolling) I notice that I cannot increase the screenshot region beyond the visible area:

Maybe this can be interpreted to mean that neither Opera's Start page nor Opera's screenshot function realize that there is a scrollable window in the present case, why

                    • the Start page doesn't show a scroll bar (although it should)
                    • no full page screenshot is possible.

@yanta There are already some topics on it. The problem happens on all pages.

Opera version 54.0.2952.51 (Update stream: Stable) brought the scroll bar back. Thanks for this.
