So I recently decided to try Opera instead of Google Chrome due to the fact that Chrome is really resource intensive and Opera runs really light. I wanted to free up as much CPU and RAM for video editing as I could. But there's one thing that's been really bugging me.

Whenever I restart the app (by closing it and opening it again or by restarting my computer totally), I have to log back in to every single website I was logged into when the program closed. This is even when the box for "remember me" was clearly checked. It really bugs me because logging back into everything is a huge waste of time when I work out of so many different websites. And some of them are a lot harder to login to than simply providing a username and password because they're more secure.

Is this normal, or is there something I can do to fix it?

I'm running on an older Macbook Pro with an i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and running macOS Sierra if that's important.

Not a Mac user, but you denied access to the keychain and so Opera has no place to store logins securely. See several other threads on this topic for how to clear that setting.

Interestingly enough, as soon as I finally posted about it yesterday, I restarted and it remembered everything. Could be a keychain thing I bet because I think I fixed that last time I restarted. We'll see if it keeps working or not...
