Red Opera icon on Windows taskbar

There is another user who has had (and solved via an update) the issue I am having. I checked and my Opera is up to date:

Version information
Version: 53.0.2907.99 - Opera is up to date
Update stream: Stable
System: Windows 10 64-bit

I am hoping that the next update will solve this for my system! Has anyone else had this happen lately or is there a known work-around?

@premieroperauser Like is mentioned in the topic that you've linked, removed the fail download that is causing it from your download list.

I needed to reread that post I linked to a couple more times until it finally made sense! I seem to be able to type in English but my comprehension of it sometimes seems to be quite lacking!
