Opera is not highlighting links

Hello,
I'm a new Opera user so excuse my ignorance, but Opera doesn't seem to highlight links on Facebook Messenger. The only way for me to open a link sent to me is by copying it and opening a a new tab and paste it.
I'm not sure if there's a safety feature I should disable or something, so any help will be appreciated.

If the URL is not a link, then you can't click on it. There are "linkify" extensions that will automatically convert URLs to links, otherwise you have to highlight the URL and choose "Go to URL" from the context menu. Though if you mean the Messenger panel, no idea if extensions work in panels.

I know this may sound weird but somehow it fixed itself haha, I have no idea what happened but now it can click on links! Thank you once again for your reply
