Whereas Firefox takes 3-4 seconds to load, Opera, after a recent update (I'm not sure exactly which one, but I'm on 52, the latest one offered to me, now), takes one full minute. I do not have VPN turned on, however, I do have all three ad blockers activated (slow update?). I've already uninstalled and reinstalled; what's the next step? If there's any other settings info required, please respond as such; thanks.

@sgunhouse From the time I clicking on the icon within the Cinnamon start menu. And, no sync is enabled.
BTW, why can't I log in without having to reset my password every time I log into this site...I could respond to other posters much more easily if I can log in like, literally, everyone else.

Do you actually log out when you leave this site? I don't, so it has been months since the last time I logged in here.
From the time you click the icon until the window appears, or until the speed dial (or whatever you're set to start up with) fully loads? If you're loading your previous session and have 50 tabs it may take longer to load ...

@leocg It's working now, but only with my e-mail address, not my username.

@sgunhouse Just loading into Private mode, or regular mode (with Speed Dial coming in just a few seconds after)...and no reloading of tabs; I have it set to not retain tabs when I close a session, it launches with one Speed Dial or one private tab.
