rodrigowbs last edited by@tomschulte Hmmm, well i don't have much knowledge in mac's .. but you can say it's was reported to opera developers to fix that bug.
You can help to research and find the problem sending a bug report to Opera HEREAnd i will suggest you to use Developer or beta version to see if happens.. http://blogs.opera.com/desktop/2018/03/opera-53-0-2885-0-developer-update/ Please give a Feedback to us.

stevenjcee last edited bySame here, before the update, I could have Opera & lots of windows open, for a week, without any crashing. Once I updated, it's crashed a couple times in the first 24 hours! What kind of "update" is this? It's worse than it was, not good...

A Former User last edited byI have the same problems. Crashes can be minutes apart. I will have to revert back to Safari. I only recently decided to try out Opera again, but if such a significant problem can slip through without quickly being patched, I guess that concludes my trial. It's a shame really.

A Former User last edited byExactly the same thing. Since the last update, it randomly crashes. I couldn't find any particular reason, as it crashed while in Youtube, or writing something on Reddit, or Facebook, or whatever. It's been happening non-stop and its forcing me to use other browsers. sstoker last edited byFor the sake of creating a sense of urgency in getting this fixed, I too am having a problem with Opera crashing on a Mac. It happens generally after I have a few tabs open and try to open another. It's extremely annoying...

subarusvx last edited bySame here. Although with the new hotfix, it's happening less, but it still happens at random moments.

A Former User last edited bySame here. hotfix is not fixing it for me. Also noticed that it's a lot more likely to crash when my mac is on the charger.

A Former User last edited by@karimepten Me again. Yesterday Opera became unusable. When opened screen went black with other glitches /w graphics. Nothing could be read - no text what so ever - nothing worked. Closed, re-opened, didn't do sh.t. Had to revert to using Chrome. Today, 20 minutes ago, opened Opera again: the same. Deleted everything related to Opera, re-installed. Now seems to be working. For how long? Seems like god only knows. My speed dials are now gone. Nice. Unbelievable. Thinking my days with Opera are done. Already have deleted iOS Opera Mini long time ago due to it becoming a bloatware unworking piece of sh.t.. Developers, if you do not care anymore, at least let us know, so we can pack our sh.t and move on to something that we can actually rely on.

A Former User last edited byIt's been crashing for me as well every time I click on a new tab or a link or whatever. And there is one travel site that simply refuses to update. It goes to the site, lets me log in, and when it tries to load the page, just takes me back to the login, and keeps doing this. Wanting to make sure it wasn't the site, I logged in through Firefox without a problem whatsoever. I really like Opera, but I can't deal with the constant crashing. Is this going to get fixed any time soon? I'm on macOS High Sierra v. 10.13.3.
