Ctrl+Tab Skip Preview

Right now if I Ctrl+Tab, I'm greeted with preview, thus, if I Ctrl+W on a tab preview I'm seeing, its the unintended active tab that is closed, not the previewed tab.
I prefer instant switching with no zooming of default Chromium.
I have de-selected "Show preview" but there seems to be no difference on Opera 51.

Enable the advanced keyboard shortcuts, then you can do it much faster with they keys "1" & "2" http://help.opera.com/opera/Windows/2393/en/fasterBrowsing.html#advanced
You can also edit those keys and put yours in the "configure shortcuts" section.

@xirit32 @leocg Sorry for the confusion. I could not edit the original post any more but I have provided more info about what I am requesting (which is already implemented under a different definition of tab cycling) here.
Consider my request complete (with maybe possibilities of changing the default keyboard shortcuts to what I suggest if it is better).

@leocg Basically I can disable by using Switch Right urrently assigned to Ctrl PageDown instead of Ctrl Tab and Switch Left Ctrl PageUp instead of CtrlShiftTab
One is clearly faster... (to transition, I understand that the preview method may consume less due to using cached thumbnails instead of rendering the tab).
I request @leocg to reply on what this toggle available at opera://settings/?search=Show%20tab%20previews actually does?

This shows a preview of a tab whenever you hover your mouse over it.
