Hi leocg,
Can you help me on this then please, i want to be able to read and send emails with my ntl email account , using opera, sorry to be a pain,Opera is a free web browser similar to Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc. which includes a built-in mail client. This allows quick access to mail accounts directly from the Opera browser if configured.

@chippyman None of those browsers include an email client.
If you email service provides an webmail page, you can just go there, log in and read your mail. If not then you will need an email client and this is something for another forum.

@chippyman Are you perhaps thinking of the old Opera versions (back several years ago) that used to provide a built-in eMail client? That feature was eliminated after Opera 12; the stable version is now at Opera 50, though there may be some web pages floating around that still reference the old versions' specs.

Don't know anything about NTL World email, but looking it up, it seems like logging in at https://my.virginmedia.com/home/signIn will get you to a page where you can then access your email.
I also see https://www.getmailspring.com/setup/access-ntlworld-com-via-imap-smtp, which provides the IMAP and SMTP info needed to set up mail clients like Opera Mail and Thunderbird.

NTL used to be one of the two main cable companies in the United Kingdom (the other being Telewest).
They merged and were rebranded as Virgin Media quite a few years ago, but there must be many people still using their legacy e-mail addresses.
