How to diable Opera Link in version 12.17

After link support ended, the opera link in my browser is still blue = enabled, and so when i close the browser it still attempts to sync. If i try to 'configure' it, the first thing it needs is me to login...which of course goes nowhere now. So how do i disable opera link in my browser now?

I swear i went thru the config line by line. I was looking for 'link' not sync i guess. thank you. My next wonder is if anyone has figured out a way to make their own server act as a personal opera sync? that would be wonderful. 12.17 is still the best browser in my eyes. especially with html5.

Strange, I still have Opera Link enabled on all my Opera 12.17 installations, and although it's obviously not now doing anything, it's not popping up any error messages when I close the browser, as I thought it would.
