Opera 50.0.2762.67 not opening external links

With version 50.0.2762.67, when I attempt to open URLs from other applications, I get my Speed Dial page and the externally referenced URL does not open nor is reflected in the address bar.

please try restarting your browser? It could happen that the links might not open when there is an update ready, but you haven't restart you browser yet. I hope this will solve your problem.
