      @stevencee

Yes, but without deleting the current one, just like if was a manual update but with the same version.

@zalex108 I did it, and still no history.... Plus, it seems Opera doesn't like opening or shutting down, as it will stall forever.... and it'll run up over 8GBs of RAM..... Not sure if I can keep using it, doing all these things.

@stevencee Try renaming the 'History' file located in Opera's profile directory.

Also try disabling hardware acceleration in settings.

I remember that behavior sometime ago in Opera Presto but didn't know in the Chromium version.

Maybe there is an extensions keeping it alive.

@leocg There was no actual History folder, just a couple documents, and the most recent date on them was 2015.

@stevencee Files. There should be 3 of them there.

@leocg I can't find one anywhere, nothing in the Opera software file, in Application Support, in my user Library... nor when I do a search on my hard drive. Where is it supposed to be, does it say "History"? If I just created one, and put it in the Opera folder, would that do anything?

Check in Menu > About Opera the path to Opera's profile directory.
There should be a history file there.

It's a system file, is hidden.

Search for the command on google or any other.

Not quite sure what you are saying, "Search for the command"? What does that mean? And why would it be a system, hidden file? Usually the history files of browsers, are accessible in the user library file. How is a browser history, somehow an Apple system file?

I mean is in the profile.
As far as I remember the profile is hidden, even in Mac.

To view hidden files you have to enable it through a Terminal command or a program (a user posted it here on the forums some time ago).

So, search it on Google or try to find it on the forums.

@zalex108 It's in the User Library, which can be opened (if you know the "secret method", but it wasn't there, which is probably why it wasn't being shown in the browser, either. Somehow, I did some other things, and hit up what brought it back...although at this time, I can't remember what it exactly was. So it's now working, but thanks for your suggestions...

                              Well if it's fixed that's good. 😉

@zalex108 Not sure what you're asking, but there is a way to get the Library file to become visible, hitting the GO on the toolbar, and then either Option or Command, I get mixed up sometimes, cause I"m not using a Mac keyboard... 😉

                                  Well,

I undesrtood you reverted something and the History is working again. 🙄

Now I'm not sure if it's right. xD
