Most pages show up with no content except headline and video player. No comment section, no video recommendations, no additional content at all. Most, but not all video pages affected. Problem started whith youtube design change. Restarted Opera, reloaded pages affected (multiple times), problem persists. Am i the only one?

You should be able to go back to the old YouTube layout by clicking on your avatar at the top right and selecting the option at the bottom of the drop down list.
Eventually like all changes made by YouTube and other similar sites, it will be mandatory to use the new version though, working or not!

Same Problem here:
Opera 48.0.2685.11 (PGO)
Win10 64 BitFirefox, etc. work fine
Changing to the old designe helped; but maybe I want to use the new design. Is this a Youtube or Opera Problem?

At least on my computer, the new YouTube layout appears to be fine on IE, Firefox and Chrome. Is this therefore a bug in Opera? Is this a known issue that will hopefully be fixed before YouTube disables the old layout and forces everyone to use the new one?

I'm unable to post a NEW comment with the new Youtube design in Opera. I can only reply to existing comments. The new comment box is just missing.

Unable to play Youtube.com or Youtube.com/new - with Flash or HTML. Opera Version 47.0.2631.80 (PGO). Tried reverting in YouTube - no go.
I can play on Chrome, Firefox, Edge but I prefer Opera. Please don't make me change. I was born when Eisenhower was president...Seems like a bug in Opera. -

Mine plays ok in either version of Youtube, and I'm using Adblock, Adblockplus, and Tampermonkey. It's just making a new comment I can't do. Replying to an existing comment works though.
