Remove, sure. Change? Well, if you convince Opera you're in Russia it would use Yandex, but other than changing your locale no.

Nevermmind, I found the option to remove the search bar but I'd prefer to just change it to another engine.

Where did you find it? I want to remove it as well (since I can't change the search engine in it)?

You can find it in settings page or in Start Page settings. You need to enable advanced settings to be able to see the option.

There is nothing for this under Start page settings, even when I enable Advanced Settings.

That's the most retarded placement ever. I didn't know advanced settings tick affects things outside of normal settings. No wonder I couldn't find it. Ridiculous.

Well, it was said to you to look in Start Page settings and that is Start Page settings. 🙂

BTW, for it to appears in settings page you need to enable power user settings.

Yeah, well, there are also "Start Page" settings under Settings -> Browser -> Start Page...

True but when I talk about the Settings page I usually say just 'Settings' or sometimes 'Settings Page'. 'Start Page Settings' will always mean the one accessed from Start Page itself.
