Now, I will keep it short.

About a month ago, a new update rolled out, the one that made the "close" , "minize" etc. buttons all the same size. (prior to that the X (close button) was about 2 times bigger than the the other 2) .

Ever since this update , my PC running windows 8.1 64bit has the browser crashing almost every time when open a private mode window and close it , use the VPN or both.

My Surface Pro 4 , running Windows 10 also has this problem but it happens on very rare occasions.

A few side notes , I have some Chrome Extensions installed but the don't case any problems because I tried disabling them ( by the way thank you VERY MUCH for supporting Chrome extension and for the built in VPN , its saved my a lot of time ! )

I am going to be downgrading my Opera right now but just wanted you to know that there is something wrong with these newer versions of the browser which makes them unstable.

        Ok, just downgraded to Opera_40.0.2308.90_Setup

Previously had 45 or 46 , this is just the best one , it runs super smooth on all of my devices ranging from Windows 8 / 10 .

One question , how do I stop updates ?

I removed the task from task-sheduler but it keeps downloading the update and asking me to update ever time I open the browser.
