I'm on Windows 10. It says to 1. Disable turbo mode, which I'm not using. And 2. Make sure the WidevineCdm plug-in is enabled, which I don't know how to do, but it may be an outdated help page because I couldn't find the setting for that.

Check opera://components/ . Also, do you have VPN enabled by chance?

I get this when I go opera://components/: "Widevine Content Decryption Module - Version: 1.4.8.903
Status - Component not updated", then it has a button to "Check for update" but it doesn't do anything, it doesn't seem to want to update for some reason. I'm not using VPN.

Detect and run important Flash content. I also tried "Allow sites to run Flash" but it didn't do anything.

Hulu has been down for me as well. It is working just fine on Firefox.
I'm on windows 10, I have Flash enabled, not using Turbo or VPN.

Do you have the 'WidevineCdm' folder in Opera's profile folder? It has a folder called '1.4.8.903' inside it?

Strange. I'm just watching Netflix (Star Trek New Generation) in Opera 45 and it's working just fine. Using any particular extensions or made any particular changes? Are you maybe trying to watch 4K maybe? I know 4K has limitations, but I think it just switches to FullHD if 4K requirements aren't met.

Netflix does not work for me either. I haven't modified anything in the browser, I just installed, I have W10 + Opera 45. When I try to reproduce a video in Netflix it says:

                            Whoops, something went wrong...

                            Netflix Video Player Unavailable

There was an unexpected error. Please reload the page and try again.

The help page says 2 options:

                            1)Disable Turbo Mode
In the Opera browser, select Menu from the upper left corner.
Select Opera Turbo to uncheck the Turbo option.
                            Try Netflix again.
2)Make sure the WidevineCdm plug-in is enabled
In the Opera browser, select Menu from the upper left corner.
                            Select Settings.
                            Select Websites.
Find the Plug-ins section and select Manage individual plugins....
Find the Widevine Content Decryption Module and select Enable.
Once the WidevineCdm plug-in is enabled, try Netflix again.

Turbo mode is not enabled and for the 2nd option thats outdated but in complements it shows the plugin is enabled.

                            Any solution?

Same thing here cybersokar. Nothing has fixed it, so I have had to resort to using Chrome shudders to watch Netflix until they fix this bug. It's so annoying and I don't know how to fix it.

I had the same problem, I got it to work in Windows 10 by running Opera as Administrator, then I went to Netflix and it started to work. Then I close Opera and ran it normally and now it works even if not running as Administrator.

had the same problem with netflix. my solution:
                                    -disable turbo
                                    -disable VPN
                                    -close opera
                                    -run opera as administrator

for some reason it works now. just sucks i can't use turbo or VPN! ugh

As far as I know, Netflix doesn't allow using proxies or VPNs.
