You need to have Sirius XM login to be able to stream music, but the link is https://player.siriusxm.com

it does not appear to happen when streaming Pandora

Take a look at opera://media-internals/ , maybe it will show you something.

Also try disabling the ad-blocker.

Same problem here - the player is literally slowed down, just as if there was a special effect on. Ad blocker is off.

Same here. My Opera installation has no addons or plugins and I have always used to listen to SiriusXM. I uninstalled and tried a few various versions going back to version 30.something and had no success with any of them, which makes me think the problem is with the SiriusXM player and not a problem with the browser.

The problem is with Opera and some sound cards. It also seems to be on dell computers. Sirius XM works in Opera on my non dell computers. I cannot find a solution.

I have a HP laptop that has this problem. I have restored driver versions for all audio drivers and that didn't make a difference.

Same thing here. Opera 42.0, Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, Creative X-Fi Fatality sound card. All music is slowed down to about 33%. It actually sounds kind of cool on some songs

Opera version 43 Still broken for siriusXM.. playing at 1/2 or 1/3 speed....

Using realtek High definition audio that was working until recent upgrades of opera....

sirius XM streams with chrome just fine unfortunately...

Happening to me too. Latest developer version. Either the audio just stops after a few seconds, or the page crashes. Windows 10, a bunch of different computers I tried it on, all the same.

I use opera for linux (mint 17.3) looks like its streaming but no sound, works in all my other browsers, opera please fix so i can make you default

The issue may have a different cause on Linux, so it's better to post in Opera for *nix forum.

Anyone find a solution? It just crashes every time I load SiriusXM's web player now. I've gone through all the usual troubleshooting steps. About to submit a bug report.

Opera crashes after about a minute of streaming with SiriusXM. It works fine with Firefox and the new Internet Explorer.
I sure would like to have a fix for that.
