Tabs & Speed Dials not Syncing on Android - Opera Beta

No synced Speed Dials or Tabs are showing on Android.
When I visit sync.opera.com it says the device is indeed registered, and I'm logged in (although I was given no opportunity to enter my sync passphrase). My bookmarks show, that seems to be it. -

I removed my sync passphrase, and now it works. With the passphrase enabled, it does not prompt on Android, and does not sync.
not the ideal situation... -

agreed; it fixed it completely on Android though in Opera and Opera Beta.
just now, added a passphrase on desktop, added a bookmark in Beta on Android, syncing happens immediately on desktop.
this was not the case earlier, as I had two different sets of bookmarks between mobile & desktop when it wasn't syncing normally.it seems like the passphrase non-entry was causing mobile to stay out of the loop. I'm happy to find a work around though, as I'm not eager to go back to Chrome...

to summarize:
reset sync for all devices, created new passphrase on desktop, logged in on both devices (almost positive OSX Dev version first), sync for speed dials, open tabs, and bookmarks were not syncing at all. reset sync again, no passphrase this time, all devices synced immediately and normally. added a passphrase, everything is still fine.

Same problem here and this solution works. So firstly we need to do sync then use passphrase
