Summary: Opera 40.0 becoming slower and consuming 100% CPU resources ---- ​​Why is Opera 40.0 becoming slower and consuming 100% CPU resources just like Firefox?? Opera 40.0 is now competing with Firefox to be the slowest browser. I switched to Opera since Firefox was continually consuming too much CPU and Disk resources.
